As I sit here it still amazes me we have got this far – and we haven’t even started yet.

Sally and I seem to have been through so much together in the last few years, the fact that we are now in a position to set-off on a year-long adventure seems hardly real. We are still chasing paperwork, Carnet; Visas; IDPs etc. but the date is drawing closer and we are determined to go. The weather is reminding us that Summer is over. There is a morning chill in the air that doesn’t bode well for sleeping in a tent in Northern Europe (OK – I am a WUS) it is time to head South and follow the sun. Perhaps I will take a Jumper with me though..?
